DNV GL Group Presents Agenda

The soon to be merged DNV GL group has begun to establish its staff and identity as one class society.

The class societies have appointed DNV Head of Maritime Tor Svensen and CEO Henrik Madsen and Germanischer Lloyd CEO Erik van der Nordaa as heads of maritime for the new organization.

RINA and Russian Maritime Register of Shipping to Collaborate

The classification societies RINA and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping have agreed to work together on future projects.

The two class societies say the initial co-operation will focus on yachts and ice class where they have specific strength and expertise.
