Bahamas Targets Brazilian Market
The Bahamas Maritime Authority has launched a campaign to reach out to the Brazilian shipping and offshore industries.
Delegates visited the Maritime Authority of Brazil, Brasa Shipyard and several owners and suppliers in the Rio de Janeiro area and plans to return to the country later this year.
Given Brazil's emergence as a burgeoning market over the past decade, building relationships with its industry leaders is a wise move for the registry.
Just last year our parent company established an offshore-based publication to meet growing demand and will host our fourth consecutive Brazilian Offshore Finance Forum this October.
