Greeks back IMO's emissions target

Shipowners union calls strategy a "critical" first step.

The Union of Greek Shipowners (UGS) has welcomed the IMO agreement to cut carbon emissions 50% by 2050.

It called the move, agreed on Friday in London, "a first but critical step towards the industry’s decarbonisation."
