Mercosur Imposes Ban on Falklands-Flagged Vessels

The South American Trade bloc Mercosur has implemented an embargo on vessels registered with the British Overseas Territory the Falkland Islands, in response to an ongoing sovereignty dispute between Argentina and the United Kingdom over the archipelago.
