Over 3,000 ships are set to be fitted with scrubbers by the end of 2020, according to the latest statistics.
A surge in demand for companies to fit scrubbers next year means 3,018 vessels will have the equipment by the close of 2020, according to DNV GL data cited by DNB Markets.
