Red Ensign Group to Convene in Gibraltar this June
The Red Ensign Group has chosen Gibraltar as its host state for its annual conference, which will take place June 30 to July 4 2014.
The group reports: "As well as discussing a range of maritime topics affecting the territories, the group will assess individual member's performance against the Red Ensign Group's agreed quality objectives. In order to ensure its continued success a a Flag of Choice, the group will also look at future initiatives and strategic direction to serve it well into the future.
This important conference provides a useful forum for delegates to network and share best practices as well as an opportunity for the hosts to present the very best their territory has to offer."
Previous states to host the conference include the British Virgin Islands (2013), Isle of Man (2012), and Jersey (2011).
