Today begins the International Trade Federation's second week of inspections of vessels that call on ports in Mumbai, Kandla, New Mangalore, Paradip, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata and Haldia.

Pakistan Expands National Fleet

Pakistan will incorporate four additional vessels into its fleet in the coming year in order to develop the country's economy, according to Federal Minister of Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Ghauri.

Ghauri, who recently resumed his position as Minister, addressed Pakistani media at the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), which manages all Pakistani-flagged vessels.

Liberia re-elected to IMO Council
