1/8/2019 - Source Equasis and the OGSR staff - Now that we have the Equasis data for 2017 we thought it might be interesting to highlight some of the data comparing 2017 to 2016. Because Equasis does not break down data by individual Flag state but groups them as "Targeted" and "Non-Targeted" we're starting with a comparison of 2017 versus 2016.

From the reports introduction. This report provides a picture of the world’s merchant fleet in 2017, derived from data contained in the Equasis database. It examines the structure and characteristics of the fleet and its performance. The statistics are grouped into themes which could be of interest to the industry and regulators.
