TEMPORARY GUIDANCE RELATED TO COVID-19 FOR PORT STATE CONTROL AUTHORITIES (REV.2)

Source: Paris MOU - MAB has considered and agreed that, noting the global impact of COVID-19, there is need to apply flexibility under these special circumstances. In Paris MoU member States, national measures are implemented which are to a large extend affecting the port State control regime.

Paris MoU guidance on COVID-19 updated and available for the industry

Source: Paris MOU - Following the outbreak of COVID-19, the Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MoU) acknowledged the crisis which the international shipping industry was facing. In view of the continuing effects of the crisis, the end of which cannot yet be foreseen, the Paris MoU has amended its previously drafted guidelines.

Marshall Islands Remains On Paris MoU White List

Source RMI: The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) remains on the white list for Paris MoU for 2019. Paris MoU Committee published the 2018 inspection results and adopted new performance lists for flags and Recognized Organizations (ROs) at its 52nd meeting last month. RMI has been recognized by the Paris MoU since 1999

Liberian Registry cements position on Paris MoU and Tokyo MoU White Lists

Source: LISCR Press Release 6/25/2019: The Liberian Registry has once again been included on the White List of low-risk flags in the 2018 Annual Report of the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Port State Control, covering the European region. It has been white-listed by the Paris MoU now for almost 20 years.
